Blackjack Is Like A Roller Coaster

Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a rollercoaster. It’s a game that starts out slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you slowly build up your bankroll, you feel as though you are getting up to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so remarkably like a roller coaster the similarities are alarming. As is the case with the popular fair experience, your blackjack game will peak and things will seem to be going great for a time before it bottoms out once again. You must be a gambler that’s able to readjust to the ups … downs of the game simply because the game of black jack is packed full with them.

If you like the small coaster, 1 that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way you can enjoy the ride is with a larger bet, then hop on for the coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-stakes gambler will love the view from the monster roller coaster because he/she is not thinking on the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it’s going up, that’s awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster begins to twist and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.

If you don’t, you may not recount how much you enjoyed life while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, an awesome ride … your head in the sky. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t always remember how "high up" you went but you will always remember that disappointing drop as clear as day.
